PLEASE JOIN US FOR OUR 4TH ANNUAL WORKSHOP FOR MOTHERS & DAUGHTERS. “I Am Her. She is Me.” brought to you virtually by Zoom!
TIX AVAILABLE AT:
Time: 9:00-10:30am on Sunday, April 19
Pre-teen and teen girls need their mothers more than they know – particularly during times of crisis and uncertainty. We also know that social support and increased connection builds resiliency, helps to regulate emotions and strengthens our immune system! So please join us for a virtual event that offers mothers and daughters an opportunity to learn, create and move together in fun and positive ways.
The event will start with a rousing welcome by Jenny Schatzle of Bond Fitness. Jenny Schatzle doesn’t just change bodies; she changes lives. Jenny Schatzle is on a mission to help women change the conversation on self-worth, body image, and movement. Jenny guides women to feel good about themselves and break the cycle of what’s holding them back. She is the creator of the hugely successful Bond Fitness Program.
Christy Peterson will then lead an interactive conversation on cultivating compassion, love, humor and other positive emotions at home and with each other during the pandemic (and after).
Elyse Grossman will end the event with a short yoga stretch accompanied by reflection. Elyse is a teacher at Santa Barbara Middle School and creates a class atmosphere where her students are able to explore new challenges in a safe environment while promoting an experience on the mat that challenges the body, quiets the mind, awakens the heart and inspires the soul.
All proceeds benefit the Arts Mentorship Program, a non-profit providing creative guidance, mentorship, and financial support to young and emerging performing artists in the Santa Barbara community. Please help support this incredible workshop!
This event is specifically designed for girls ages 10 – 17 and their mothers. We welcome all relationships– grandmothers, aunts, stepmothers, mentors…relationships of all shapes and sizes are more than welcome to join us!
To inquire about scholarships for this event, please contact email@example.com. We do not want cost to be prohibitive for anyone.
