NO LIMITS PROGRAM

Movement, Dance, and Play!

The No Limits Program is an enriching dance education program that offers a dynamic, interactive experience that brings people together through the art of dance, movement, and play.

Designed for all ages and skill levels, this program fosters connection and creativity while promoting physical, mental and emotional well-being. Participants will explore various dance styles that are culturally relevant and allow communities of differences to explore new cultures and experience to engage in playful movement exercises, and develop body awareness in a supportive and inclusive environment. Whether you're looking to have students express themselves, build confidence and leadership school; stay active, or connect with others, our program provides a joyful and enriching experience that celebrates the transformative power of dance, movement and play.

We have a wide range of offerings and partner with Nonprofit organizations, schools, school districts in South Santa Barbara County, Goleta,  and Carpinteria.

What makes our dance program unique?

Somatic Centering

AMP utilizes somatics as a tool during our stretch block to equip our students and participants with self regulation techniques to strengthen their wellbeing.

What is somatics?

Somatics describes any practice that uses the mind-body connection to help you survey your internal self and listen to signals, or become aware of your body and its signs about areas of pain, discomfort, or imbalance.

Tapping as a tool of regulation.

What our participants, educators of participants, and community members have to share:

  • “My daughter is always taking deep breaths before her softball games. I have never really seen her do this until after she attended your No Limits Program. Thank you!”

    Mother of Participant

  • “Thank you to AMPs No Limits Program for serving our students this summer! My fourth grader was having a tough time in class with focusing during our math lesson. I then found him tapping his temples and telling himself “I can do this, I CAN DO THIS!”. I asked him what he was doing and he replied,” Maestra I’m grounding myself, because si se puede!”. This is a tool he learned at AMPs No Limits Program and it was so impactful to see my student self regulate and affirm himself that he can. Thank you AMP for supporting our students!”

    4th Grade Teacher

  • “I really like how you taught me that I have I can tap myself on my head to calm myself down. I really needed this.”
